Fall 2026 Athletic Participation Requirements
All students planning to try out or participate in official practices for Fall 2026 must be fully registered and approved prior to any participation. This includes submitting required documentation and receiving clearance from the High School Athletic Director.
To be eligible for tryouts and official practices, students must have:
- A completed and submitted registration form on the Arbiter platform
- A current physical exam on file with the High School Athletic Director (it is strongly recommended that families upload the exam directly to Arbiter). New in 26-27 is the required CHSAA physical exam template. Please see below.
- A transcript review to verify academic eligibility
- Final approval from the High School Athletic Director
Students who are not cleared through this process will not be permitted to participate in practices, tryouts, or team activities.
We are excited to welcome you to the 2026–2027 school year and CHSAA athletic calendar!
Tryouts and official practices for CHSAA-sanctioned high school Fall sports will begin on the following dates:
- August 3rd, 2025: Boys Golf and Football
- August 10th, 2026: Cross Country, Field Hockey, Girls Flag Football, Football, Boys Golf, Gymnastics, Boys Soccer, Softball, Spirit, Boys Tennis, Unified Bowling, and Girls Volleyball
To be eligible for tryouts and official practices for the 2025–2026 school year, students must complete the following:
- Submit a completed registration through the Arbiter platform
- Submit the Pay to Play fee through the Arbiter platform
- Please upload a copy of the current physical exam to the Arbiter platform or provide a copy to the Athletic Director
- Effective July 2025, CHSAA will only accept the official CHSAA Physical Exam forms as valid documentation.
- PPE Form – ALL PAGES 1-4
- PPE Form – ALL PAGES 1-4 – Spanish
- A transcript review for eligibility
- An approval from the High School Athletic Director
Students who have not met these requirements will not be permitted to participate in tryouts, practices, or team activities.
